How to make your generative AI systems more ethical

How can I help you with AI ethics for generative AI?

I have a certification on Ethics in the age of Generative AI by Microsoft and LinkedIn, and I have extensive knowledge and skills in applying ethical principles and frameworks to generative AI scenarios and cases. I can help you design, implement, and evaluate your own AI ethics policy and practices for generative AI. I can also train your employees in and monitor your AI ethics issues.

I have developed a comprehensive and practical guide for developing and deploying responsible generative AI systems, based on six principles: fairness, reliability and safety, privacy and security, inclusiveness, transparency, and accountability. The guide provides definitions, requirements, and best practices for each principle, as well as examples of how they apply to generative AI systems and scenarios.

I also have a set of tools and methods that I use to help you assess the impacts, audit the performance, review the outcomes, and solicit feedback from your generative AI systems. These include:

  • Impact assessments: A process of identifying and evaluating the potential benefits and risks of your generative AI systems on different groups of people or aspects of society
  • Audits: A process of verifying and validating the quality and compliance of your generative AI systems with your standards and guidelines
  • Reviews: A process of monitoring and measuring the functionality and performance of your generative AI systems under various conditions and scenarios
  • Feedback mechanisms: A process of collecting and analyzing input and feedback from your stakeholders and users on their experiences and expectations from your generative AI systems

Our Mission

I am the owner of thetechdeputy.com, a consulting firm that specializes in AI ethics for generative AI systems.

What is generative AI?

Generative AI is a type of artificial intelligence that can create novel and realistic content such as text, images, audio, and video. For example, generative AI can:

  • Write captivating stories or catchy slogans
  • Draw stunning portraits or landscapes
  • Compose original music or lyrics
  • Produce realistic videos or animations

Why do you need AI ethics for generative AI?

Generative AI has incredible potential for enhancing creativity, productivity, and innovation in various domains such as marketing, entertainment, education, and research. However, it also poses significant challenges and risks such as ethical, legal, and social implications. For example, generative AI can:

  • Generate content that is biased, discriminatory, misleading, manipulative, or infringing
  • Cause harm or damage to people, property, or the environment
  • Violate privacy or security of data or information
  • Erode trust or credibility of sources or authorities

That’s why you need a person or group dedicated to AI ethics who can ensure that your generative AI systems are developed and used in a responsible and trustworthy manner. Having an AI ethics policy can help you:

  • Align your generative AI systems with your values, goals, and stakeholders’ expectations
  • Avoid potential harms or risks from your generative AI systems
  • Comply with relevant laws and regulations
  • Enhance your reputation and competitiveness
